The highlight of the day was both Mom and Dad were able to hold Adam for almost an hour each at different feeding times since his feeding pump is at such a slow rate. This is definitely a win-win situation since it is good for him and keeps him from spitting up and good for us since it takes longer. When we get there for feedings, Adam is always wide awake and most of the time has his hands in his mouth - a hungry boy! It doesn't take long once he starts eating for him to get to sleep.
We also did a little shopping today to work towards finishing Adam's room so it will be ready for him when he comes home. We shopped for a few necessities and also bought a bookshelf today. We will do more when Mom can walk around a little better. When we start organizing the room we will post some pictures.
Lisa, David & Adam -
ReplyDeleteYou have an awesomely handsome young man. I am so happy to be able to follow his progress. It's such a cool experience - being a parent. One, I'm sure, you'll both enjoy greatly!
Take care of Adam and give him a kiss from...well...I guess....his 3rd cousin??? :)
Love and prayers to all!
Susan.
Wow, what a week! We have enjoyed following your blog and seeing Adam's progress. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Congratulations on the handsome little guy! I can't tell who he looks like yet, but he is so cute.
ReplyDeleteHe definitely has my vote in '48. Maybe he'll consider Audrey for his running mate...a Strunk-Mahan ticket would be unstoppable.
Take care,
Sara (Baker) Mahan (and Barry, Gabe, and Audrey, too)
